[0.6.0] Progress Update #5

Another progress report has rolled around.

It's been a good 14 days. A lot of progress has been made! I'm waiting for a couple of assets to be made that I've commissioned and they should be ready very soon. In the mean time I've been doing the audio implementation as you can see. I normally leave that until the end. But since I couldn't do more renders before those assets are finalized, I started on the audio and finished it up until what I've currently rendered out.

The last 30~% is quite... intensive? Is that the right word? There are a lot of things, camera angles, animations, emotions, spicy situations, and I need to get it right. Of course that's not to say there won't be any goofy stuff. We all like goofy stuff, and 0.6.0 has no shortage of that! But the last quarter of this update is... a lot, so we still have a ways to go, but one step closer to the goal.

Why am I using 0.6.0 for the version number?

Why am I not using Day 6? Well, I've made the decision to move to a standardized format. Days were fun, but I also feel it's getting repetitive, and that I also have to sort of... force scenes to end the days, and that's not what I want to do, and I don't believe you, the players would want to read and watch forced content just to get to the end of an update.

So, with this change, we can have more story content that actually matters, if a scene happens at the house, the bedroom, whatever.. that'll happen because it needs to happen. Does this all make sense? I hope so, haha.So, 0.6.0 is the new version number for this update, and all future updates will follow suit.
